Hi there!
I’m Marguerite Melton and I want to make your house a happy place!
Here are some other fun facts about me:
• In 8th grade, I put Interior Designer on my PSAT as what I wanted to be when I grew up⠀
• I’m the 3rd generation (CP is the 4th) of my family living in my current home! I grew up here, as well as my Dad.
• I LOVE my #citywithsoul Jackson, Mississippi, with all my heart
• I went to Mississippi College where I worked my tail off to get my degree in Interior Design (not just colors and pretty things, think math and fire extinguishers) then when I was two semesters from graduating; I decided I should just add on a minor in Historic Preservation... which I did.
•I’m pretty sure I’m MCs only Interior design major with a preservation minor, I feel like a badass, but it’s just the timing of the programs !
• I never saw myself in residential design, but after school, and while putting together my own home, I realized how much a well functioning home could really make a difference in your day to day life.
